QUANTUM VET DIGNOSTICS WELCOMES NEW STAFFBack2009-11-17
Quantum Vet Diagnostics has seen rapid expansion of its customer base recently and this has necessitated expansion of the Field Service department and the Sales department.
Our most recent member of staff to join Quantum Vet Diagnostics is Angela Morris. Angela is the Field Service Technician for the North East of England. Angela brings with her a wealth of wet chemistry and field service experience having previously worked at Synermed Europe working with the IR202 series analyser.
Damien Barrell recently joined Quantum as a Field Service Technician for the South East area. Damien brings with him wet chemistry and Field Service experience. Damien began his career working on behalf of the commonwealth office, originally from an IT background where he worked as a network engineer. He then moved to Synermed Europe where he gained experience as a Field Service Engineer working with the IR202 series analyser.
Andrew Pook joined Quantum as an In-house service engineer. Andrew brings with him over 10 years experience in the electronic industry. Andrew began his career working for design initiative in the electronic weighing industry. He then progressed to West Instruments where he serviced and gave application assistants on electronic instrumentation equipment in the process control industry.
Alison Sylvester is the Biochemist at Quantum and has 22 years experience in the chemistry industry both in NHS and the Private sector. Alison began her career working for the NHS Princess Royal Hospital where she set up methods to detect Obligoclonal bands in CSF using Capillary Electrophoresis for an MSc project. She then progressed to Gordons Lab where she managed two private laboratories for a further two years, before joining Synermed Europe where she ran their in-house laboratory and looked after the Field Service Technicians. Alison moved to Quantum in June this year and heads up the in-house laboratory providing support for the expanding customer base and Field Service Technicians.
Lottie Dryden's role is that of a Field Service Technician at Quantum covering the West of the Country. Lottie started veterinary nursing in 1992 in a mixed practice and qualified as a vet nurse in 1995. In 2003 she gained her Royal College Certificate in Equine Nursing, then decided in 2004 to become a Service Technician for the Near-Infrared Reagents at Synermed Europe Ltd.
Claire Farmer is Quantum's Field Service Technician for the midlands. Claire has over 6 years experience in the wet chemistry industry but began her career working in a veterinary practice where she stayed for 8 years. Claire then worked as a Claims Supervisor for a pet insurance company. Claire joins Quantum from Synermed Europe where she worked for 6 years. Paul MacCabe joined Quantum as a Field Service Technician covering the North of England. Paul is a qualified veterinary nurse with 12 years experience working with exotic animal referral practice as deputy head nurse where he gained alot of experince using the IR202 series analyser, then in 2006 he moved to Synermed Europe as a Field Service Technician.
Mike Holden - Wadsworth is the Sales Manager at Quantum Vet Diagnostics. Mike has 9 years sales experience within the veterinary industry sector. Before Mike joined Quantum he previously held sales positions for Menarini (4 years) and Synermed Europe (5 years). |
