When confronted with a malfunctioning bio-chemistry analyser and with protracted difficulties obtaining reagents and technical support from another supplier we turned to woodley for help.

 

Immediately we were able to speak to staff who understood our concerns and who were familiar with the chemistries involved.

 

Recognising our difficult position and the need to restore service to our clients they provided us with a temporary but suitable loan machine within 24 hours and restored our analyser to full functionality within a few days.

 

Importantly, we received regular progress updates, sometimes twice a day during the critical handover period and that cemented our confidence in their excellent service standards and reliability.

 

Care calls followed restoration of our machine and we have not looked back.

What a difference a day makes! From indifferent technical support, reagents running out, unreliable test results and worst of all unhappy nurses - to a huge collective sigh of relief when Woodley arrived to "switch back" our synermed IR202 analyser to genuine near-infrared chemistry.

 

Since then the corporate pulse has been strong and steady with reagents arriving as expected, support instantly available, both over the phone and in person, and a general feeling of calm associated with being looked after by a good, sound company descending on the practice.

 

We originally changed from Synermed Europe because we did not believe things could get any worse - we will stay with Woodley because they proved they can offer us the level of support and continuity we need.

A simple phone call and a fax was all it took to transfer from Star Clinical systems to Quantum (a division of Woodley Equipment Co). Now my Stress levels have returned to normal.

 

From using 2x wash and 5x the number of reagents "normal" practices were using, to now using the regular amount.

 

I had lost all faith in the Synermed Analyser and the vets were constantly questioning the results.

It could not have been worse. We were spending so much money on extra reagents.

 

With Quantum I get to speak to people who understand the machine, service the machine and seem to enjoy working with the Synermed analyser.

 

As a RVN with the responsibilities outside the Synermed, it is a relief that I can now get on with being a nurse without worrying about the reagent usage and not getting the support required.

Our previous supplier wouldn't respond to our calls for technical advice or services and inferred it was imcompetence, not their reagents. We had to use an external lab in the intrim as the results were so unreliable.
