NEW SOFTWARE CARTRIDGE FOR QBC AUTOREAD

The new QBC Autoread software cartridge version 3.00aE (revision C) has USB ports enabling the Autoread to be used with USB printers and will soon be supplied as standard with every new QBC Autoread Plus ordered from QBC Europe. It will also be available to purchase separately, part code 421923.

Other features include multiple languages for all standard functions, plus haematology diagnostic reminder’s (HDRs) (English language only). The cartridge contains an extensive database of medical diagnoses against which each test result is analysed. The test printout will therefore include a HDR report on general and specific clinical aspects relating to abnormal patient values. Abbreviated (short) or detailed (long) analysis reports can be obtained, both of which reference Wintrobe’s Clinical Haematology 8th Edition. Please note: HDR statements are only suggestions based upon a limited examination of only part of a patient’s haematology status. The information supplied is intended to be used by the clinician as part of a complete diagnostic process used in conjunction with an assessment of the patient’s medical history, a physical examination and other laboratory testing.
